Wine with my pizza

What to drink with what I (too often) eat….

In grad school I used to eat frozen pizza for dinner on rainy Friday nights when I was too knackered to go out. In my adult life, I still eat pizza for dinner on tired, rainy Fridays, only now I either have it delivered or make it myself (I’ve yet to perfect the crust). I have a bad habit of choosing what wine to drink with it pretty much randomly from my wine rack. I think I’ll start keeping track of what I drink, to see if I hit upon something just right.

Tonight (as tweeted):

Kenneth Volk 2006 Tempranillo. Plum, berries and cola. Very soft tannins. Home-made pizza crust sub-par, unfortunately.
